Installation mit folgenden Elementen:
- Bergpanorama (Kulisse mit Berglandschaftsmotiv))
- Grüne Wiese (Kunstrasen)
- Aussichtsbank (Plastikbank)
- Quellwasser (Plastikwasserspender)
- Vogelgezwitscher (Plastikvogelhaus mit Funklautsprecher)
- Wald und Blumenduft (künstlicher Raumduft)
- Abfall (Verpackungen mit Alpenmotiven, Schokolade, Wasser, Käse)
Es besteht die kollektive Vorstellung, dass die Natur von den Übeln der Zivilisation reinigt. So holen wir uns die Natur nach Hause, möglichst haltbar und pflegeleicht. Die Wellness-Kultur blüht, die Solarien strahlen, das Bergwasser sprudelt an jeder Ecke, die Alpen liegen im Supermarkt, der Tannenduft erfüllt das WC. Die Natur schützen bedeutet: ihre Nachbildung nicht zu beflecken. In Wahrheit schützt die Natur uns, indem sie das Bild das wir von ihr haben nicht antastet.

Installation
There is this collective idea that nature cures us from the evils of civilisation. We take nature to our homes, as easy to maintainan as possible. The wellness-culture is prospering, the solariums are shining, the spring water is bubbling at every corner, the Alps are spread in the supermarkets, forest scent fills out the bathrooms.
To protect nature means: don‘t soil its image. In truth the nature protects us as it is not questioning the image that we have of it. |
